NCCN Guidelines® iOS App Version 4.0

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) has introduced the Virtual Library of NCCN Guidelines® app for iPhone & iPad, designed to support healthcare professionals in implementing the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®). This resource aims to enhance the quality and efficacy of cancer care provided to patients.

NCCN is a non-profit coalition of esteemed cancer centers committed to patient care, research, and education. Its mission is to enhance the standard, efficiency, and accessibility of cancer care, striving to improve patients' quality of life. Leveraging the expertise of clinical professionals at NCCN Member Institutions, the organization develops resources that offer valuable insights to various stakeholders in the healthcare system. By championing high-quality cancer care, NCCN emphasizes continuous improvement and the creation of clinical practice guidelines suitable for global use by patients, healthcare providers, and decision-makers.

Over the past 25 years, NCCN has cultivated a suite of tools to elevate the quality of cancer treatment. The NCCN Guidelines® are based on evidence and consensus, guiding healthcare professionals in delivering preventive measures, diagnostics, treatments, and supportive services that hold promise for favorable outcomes.

These guidelines encompass comprehensive instructions on managing cancer cases—covering 97 percent of cases in the United States—including prevention, screening topics, and supportive care interventions. They evolve in response to new clinical data, ensuring that recommendations remain current for stakeholders across the care spectrum.

The primary objective of the NCCN Guidelines is to aid decision-makers in cancer care, fostering better patient outcomes.
